Life is Better With a Griff

We were very fortunate to come across the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon breed years ago. This dog is not only a great hunter with the best nose we've ever seen, but also and very importantly, a fantastic family companion. Our dogs give all they've got in the field. And when they come home, they're happily devoted to their family.

After hunting with Goldens and Labradors for many years, the Griff was brought to our attention. This dog is versatile. They are excellent with the walking hunter, can swim well, and are great retrievers. They have high energy when hunting, and easily switch to a relaxed, gentle pet when in the home. The nickname "supreme gundog" is well earned.

We live in the farmlands of St. Paul, Oregon. We spend as much time in the field with our dogs as our busy life allows. When they are not hunting, they are with our family. As a family, we take our Griffs on many adventures. We enjoy fishing, boating, camping, trips to the ocean, clam digging, and crabbing.
